Reiview –  Rob McGlade Poet.

I walked into the cellar of this small  Scottish baar, just across from Edinburgh’s Catholic Cathedral, and I discovered the next poet laurette!

He might not make it, seeing as he’s Irish, but the audience were adamant and unamimous in believing he has that level of talent.

I mean, who the hell writes a poem about a Vinegar bottle.  he captures, in his magical words, the univesal dislike of all mankind to vinegar sachets.   Sure they didn’t use vinegar sachets when they crucified christ  did they?

And there was a wonderful poem about a poet who, rather than adopt the modest demeanor of a poet adopts the connor mcgreagor bravado, confidence and bullshit style of promoting hmself, I do hope mcgreagor gets to hear it!

A dark poem of uncle oncology and his testicular cancer, should make you weep if you were on yur own.

Heres a man destined for great things in the world of poety.

4 pm daily at 2B Picardy Street, just across from the cathedral.
