Tom Watson MP is a dangerous man

This is Field Marshall Edwin Bramall, KG, GCB, OBE, MC, JP, DL, a proper soldier’s soldier. Long before I became a member of the Labour Party, I too was a soldier. I served with Bramall in Borneo, which was a hot war, and in the cold war that was Europe. I never met another soldier, from the lowest rank to the very highest, from retired veteran or even homeless veteran, who did not admire and respect him as a soldier. 
As a young man in world war II, he put his life on the line, landing, with thousands of other young men of that generation, as an infantry officer, on the beaches of Normandy and fighting his way across Europe to liberate the continent from the grip and domination of German fascism. It was in that conflict that he was awarded the Military Cross, in the field, by General Montgomery
On his retirement, he was honoured by the army that he had led, and by the nation he had served. He was ennobled and became as Lord Bramall, a respected member of the House of Lords.
In 2012 the Member of Parliament for Birmingham, Mr. Tom Watson, made a speech to the House of Commons, during Prime Minister’s questions, suggesting that there was a high-level group of powerful men involved in a pedophile ring and that there was an establishment cover-up protecting them from exposure and prosecution for child abuse. He went on, did Mr. Watson, to give interviews to national newspapers elaborating upon the allegations he had made in the House of Commons, and identifying, as his principal source for the allegations his informant, a man referred to only as “ Nick.” 
Mr. Watson, the MP for Birmingham had not a shred of evidence, corroborative or otherwise to back up the allegations made by “Nick” He told the Guardian newspaper that “… I just believed him. I believed in him, and I believed what he told me.” And “….. I thought… if I surface this allegation publicly in the format of PMQs, then if the Met have got the evidence, they’ll have to take a look at it again.”
Field Marshall Bramall was one of the high-powered men, one of the establishment figures, that was named by “Nick” as a child abuser.
The Field Marshall’ s reputation was destroyed. Scotland Yard raided and searched his home in Hampshire, twenty police officers descended upon him turning over his books and papers and seizing his computers and phones.
In 2016 the Metropolitan Police Commissioner, Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe,, attended the retired Field Marshall’s home to apologise, in person, for the unwarranted investigation, search and raid. 
Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe acknowledged that the allegations made against him and others, by “Nick”, (and promoted by Mr. Tom Watson in his speech in the House of Commons and his interviews with the media), were completely unfounded and came from a man known to be a liar and a fantasist.
The retired Field Marshall was devastated, for his dear wife Lady Bramall, who had never, for a single minute, believed the allegations of child abuse made against him, had died without ever knowing that they were false, unfounded and that he was entirely innocent.
And now Mr. Tom Watson Member of Parliament for Birmingham wants Labour Party members, and members of the public, to report their allegations of anti-Semitism in the party directly to him rather than through the established formal procedures of complaint belonging to the National Executive Committee of the Labour Party.
Mr. Watson has form when dealing with allegations. He is not to be trusted. He is a dangerous man. There are words Mr. Watson does not recognise when dealing with allegations, such as confidentiality, due process, fairness, justice. And there are words he must surely fully understand, amongst them smear, and witch-hunt. Mr. Watson is a very dangerous man.
